Joburg's Gay Pride comes of age
The annual Johannesburg Gay Pride parade comes of age in 2007, celebrating its 18th year of existence. The Coming of Age parade will be held in October this year. The newly-formed Joburg Pride Company has announced its plans for the 2007 annual gay parade. The organisation, which is pending registration as a 'Section 21 Not For Gain Company', is comprised of volunteer members of the local gay community. Read more

Pride
The 14th Annual Lesbian and gay Parade and Fair Day kicked off on a wonderful 'spring day' with 25 stalls showcasing their merchandise and products amongst them nine charities participated. From airbrushing tattoos to Animals in Distress had many visitors to their stalls and loads of sales made by all. The stalls area is an important part of the event giving a 'flea-market' environment.
