LONDON — A 24-year-old man has become the third person to be charged with
the murder of a gay Thai masseur who was found strangled and
stabbed in his flat in London, police said Thursday.
Muhammed Nduka has been charged with killing Niphan Trikhana, a
native of Bangkok who was found dead in his studio apartment in
well-heeled Chelsea, southwest London, on July 23.
Mohammed Choudhury, also 24, of Croydon, south London, and
Darren Marcus Johnson, 27, from southwest London, have also been
accused of murdering the masseur, known locally as Nikki.
Nduka is to appear before West London Magistrates Court next
Tuesday, a Metropolitan Police spokesman said.
Trikhana, who lived in London since March 2001 and attended
English language school, had only moved into his flat on July 13,
having previously lived and entertained clients in Notting Hill,
west London. — Sapa-AFP
