Run, Walk, Cycle

The increase in the petrol price has come as a shock to most of us, for this price we could fill our tanks with liquid gold.
The solution to this concern lies with 3 modes of transport that have been around for many years, they are very cost effective and could save you some money, as an added bonus there are health benefits too.
Many of you are probably thinking that this sounds too good to be true, but have you ever heard of walking, running and cycling?
These are great ways of getting a cardiovascular workout, which has many health benefits. Walking is known to reduce body fat percentage, lower cholesterol and blood pressure as well as strengthen heart and lungs. Running is an excellent stress reliever and a wonderful way to spend some time outdoors. Cycling can be a fun family event. Tandem bicycles are for families as it is safe for kids and parents are always in control of the bike.
Unfortunately, many of us do not have the luxury of working close to home, so when it comes to commuting to and from work it is probably better to drive. But here is some food for thought. Instead of driving to the corner shop for your lunchtime sandwich take a walk, when driving to visit a friend, who lives in the same neighborhood, consider cycling and replace driving to the gym for your workout, by a run in the park. It is important to stay hydrated while taking part in any activity, USN Oxygen water increases the blood oxygen and also takes some of the load off the lungs.
You will certainly feel the difference just by making a few small changes to your everyday routine. Remember, often the simplest changes make the biggest impact.
Instead of reaching for your car keys next time, reach for a pair of running shoes and feel the difference, not only in your pocket but also in your health. – Issued by USN
