NEW - USN's Vitalice

In our modern world of today one of the main reason for poor health and a lack of energy is a deficiency in oxygen. Too little oxygen in the air and too little oxygen in our blood.

Some of the reasons why we are not getting enough oxygen are due to our stressful lifestyle, poor diet, excessive pollution, toxins in our food and water, incorrect breathing, being unfit and the destruction of trees on our planet.

A common factor in many health challenges is insufficient oxygen available to the bloodstream. When we ingest water with extra oxygen in it, it bypasses the lungs and is available for absorption into the blood stream. This increases the blood oxygen and can also take some of the load off the lungs. Fresh rain water has oxygen in it. So do fresh vegetables and fruits. Tap water has very little oxygen in it. Neither does most bottled water.

The quality of the water we drink has an important impact on our health. Technology has come a long way providing us with the means to improve the quality of our water.

Anthropological studies on populations where people live very long and healthy lives have shown that one of the common denominator of these groups was the high quality of water that they drank every day. The source of this water was high up in the mountains where the mineral content was colloidal, and the water was "highly energized."

The American Council on Exercise (ACE), America's nonprofit fitness advocate, today announced results of an ACE commissioned study of super oxygenated waters that promise higher energy, greater mental awareness and concentration and more energy to all athletes who are "looking for a competitive edge or anyone who wants to be truly healthy." The study tested the claims and compared the physical performance effects of several oxygenated water products to regular tap water.

After Oxygen, water is the most essential components of the human body. The American Council on Exercise has always and continues to promote healthy hydration. Water regulates the body's temperature, cushions and protects vital organs, aids the digestion of food, transports nutrients, hormones and waste products in our blood and facilitates the elimination of toxins from our body. In addition, water also assists in the following functions:
  • Fights fatigue
  • Improves immune system function
  • Increases energy levels
  • Increases mental clarity
  • Decreases joint/muscle aches and pains
  • Helps reduce shortness of breath
  • Speeds recovery from exertion
  • Increases blood oxygen levels

Vitalice should retail at approximately R7.00

For regular exercisers maintaining a constant supply of clean water in the body is essential to performance. Dehydration leads to muscle fatigue and loss of coordination. Even small amounts of water loss may hinder athletic performance. To prevent dehydration, USN recommends exercisers drink before, during and after a workout

      Suitable for diabetics
